Many factors determine the duct system; the year it was installed, the contractor who installed it, the size of your home, and more; There are metal ducts, flex ducts, insulation board ducts, and even PVC ducts.
We have the equipment and the expertise to effectively clean them all. We use many types of techniques. First we go up in your attic and do a survey. Then determine the technique. Below is a brief description of our procedures:

Duct Cleaning Techniques:

ROTOBRUSH: The Rotobrush (left) is inserted into each air duct, supply and return, it breaks up any deposits, and vacuums the deposits through HEPA filters into a disposable container bag. The trunk lines are also cleaned either by access throught the supply and return plenums or in the attic depending on accessability. The powerful Rotobrush easily cleans all types of air duct construction including flex duct, round metal duct, square metal duct and fiberboard duct. The flexible hose and bristles of the Rotobrush can navigate ductwork including multiple bends, right angle turns, and reducers found in most types of duct systems.

NEGATIVE AIR TECHNIQUE: The air ducts are sealed off at the grills and a suction machine is attached to the air handler creating a tremendous suction in each duct. The machine "sucks" all pollutants outdoors as either the Rotobrush or a compressed air agitator is applied to each duct thus breaking up any debris in the ducts.

SONIC CLEANING: Sensitive electronic equipment, jewelry, and even teeth are cleaned sonically. We now exclusively offer SONIC duct cleaning for our Commercial customers. No one else in the area offers this propriatory technique.

AIR DUCT CLEANING THAT REALLY WORKS:

CLEAN THE GRILLS: All grills are removed and hand cleaned. They are also sprayed with a mild acid based fungistat which destroys mold spores.

DUCT CLEANING --
One or more of the above air duct cleaning techniques are used to fully clean the ducts and trunks.

MOLD KILLER: BBJ Mold and Mildew Remover application used on AC AIR DUCT GRILLS and the OUTSIDE of the AIR HANDLER.
It is EPA registered and USDA approved.

MOLD REMEDIATION: (optional) Mold and Mildew Remediation BBJ Mold and Mildew Remediation Concentrate (EPA Reg. No. 10324-80-67212)
TREATMENT APPLIED TO INSIDE AC DUCTS AND AIR HANDLERS TO KILL MOLD/MILDEW AND BACTERIA

INHIBIT MOLD GROWTH:: BBJ MicroBiocide treatments (for use in Air Ducts)
TREATMENT APPLIED TO INSIDE AC DUCTS TO INHIBIT MOLD/MILDEW GROWTH.
We also offer optional treatments and applications which are guaranteed to inhibit mold growth for up to seven (7) years.

ODOR REMOVAL: Fresh scent application (optional)

FULLY USE YOUR FILTER: Surface clean the inside and seal the outside of the Air Handler. The last step is done to insure that the AC system does not take in any more pollutants through cracks and openings in the air handler bypassing the filter.
